Saturday, June 8th, 2013 - Start time is 9:00am

5K Run and Walk Course

The course starts in Silver Lake at the Dune Town Mall with a beautiful view of the famous sand dunes.  It follows the lakeshore into the wooded, winding roads by Upper Silver Lake for a run filled with beautiful scenery and natural landscapes before finishing back at the start.  Times will be recorded for two hours. Split times will be called at each mile marker.

Entry Fees and Deadlines and Information

5K Run - Early registration fee is $20.00 through May 31st, then is $23.00 through June 8th

5K Walk - Early registration fee is $15.00 through May 31st, Then is $18.00 through June 8th

5K Wheelchair - Early Registration is $15 through May 31st, then is $18 through June 8th.

Race day registration will be available starting at 7:30am

PreRegistered participants will receive a commemorative T-Shirt. A limited number of T-Shirts will be availble to late registrants. All participants will receive post race refreshments and fresh asparagus.

Sportag (chip) timing provided by Runner's Edge Race Timing. Results will be available online soon after the race at www.RunnersEdgeRaceTiming.com

5K Run Awards

Awards are given to the Overall Male and Female finishers, Overall Masters Male and Female finishers, and the top three in each age group. Age divisions are: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.

5K Walk Awards

All walkers will be timed and scored and an award will be presented to the Overall Male and Female finishers.

5K Wheelchair Awards

All Wheelchair participants will be timed and scored and an award will be presented to the Overall male and Femaile finishers.
