Event Description
Get ready, Montclair — The Montclair Mile is back for Year 2, and we’re doubling down on everything: the racing, the energy, and the party. Last year, we had 400+ runners and walkers tear through the streets in front of packed sidewalks and cheering crowds. This year? We’re going bigger, louder, and tastier.
Whether you’re chasing a PR, trotting with your pup, or just in it for the beer and food trucks — this event is for you. Think block party meets race day, with back-to-back running/walking heats, DJ vibes, local vendors, and a full-on celebration just steps from the iconic Montclair Brewery.

5:20 PM – The Mellow Mile (Take it Easy, Walk it Proud)
5:45 PM – Men’s Open Mile – Heat 1 (Goal Times: 6:59 – 12:00)
6:00 PM – Men’s Open Mile – Heat 2 (Goal Times: 5:00 – 6:40)
6:10 PM – Women’s Open Mile – Heat 1 (Goal Times: 8:50 – 40:00)
6:25 PM – Women’s Open Mile – Heat 2 (Goal Times: 6:00 – 8:30)
6:35 PM – Stroller Mile
6:45 PM – Kids Dash
7:00 PM – Paws & Pavement (Runner & Leashed Dog) presented by Local Dog
7:25 PM – 4x800m Relay
7:40 PM – Men’s Showdown Mile (5:00 or faster projected)
7:50 PM – Women’s Showdown Mile (6:00 or faster projected)
8:00 PM – After-Party // Live Music - Nadine Simmons + Band at Montclair Brewery
