Kids Fun Run (10 and under)
Event Description
Runners, walkers, joggers, and stroller-pushers are all welcome on Thanksgiving morning to join our 10K, 5K, or free Kids Fun Run. All proceeds from the in-person event support the local mission of our two charity partners: YoungLives, which provides mentorship and care for parenting adolescents to grow in faith, grow in life, and grow in leadership; and Capernaum, which invites teens and young adults with disabilities to discover authentic friendship, growth, and purpose. Our virtual event supports the YoungLives mission around the globe.
5K & 10K PRIZES:
Top overall male and female award based on gun time (first to cross the finish) from both the 5k and 10k will receive a prize package.
5K: Top 3 male and female finishers for each age group will receive an award.
10K: Top male and female finisher for each age group will receive an award.
TEAM PRIZES:
Fastest, largest, and best dressed team trophies.
KIDS FUN RUN PRIZES:
Top male and female finishers in each of three age groups receive a goodie bag. Every participant receives a medal.
INCLUDED WITH YOUR REGISTRATION FEE:
All participants in the live event receive a newly designed race shirt, a custom medal, race bib with timing chip, & a reusable bag.

RACE SCHEDULE:
The 5K/10K/Kids Fun Run will be in person on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27th.
The Kids Fun Run will begin at 8:20 am, the YoungLives Honor Run is at 8:30 am, the 10K will start at 8:40 am, and the 5K will kick off at 9:00 am.
PACKET PICKUP and RACE EXPO:
Packet pickup will be held in conjunction with our first-ever Race Expo on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 8am-2pm, at The Benison Events Center, 100 S 3rd St, Hamilton OH 45011. Stop by to get your race packet and enjoy our fun sponsor booths and a special guest appearance by a local mascot.
SAFETY NOTICE:
No pets allowed on the course with the exception of service dogs. Thanks.

Yes. Please share your packet pickup QR code with them to make check-in and bib assignment easier for our volunteers.
There is 1 water station for the 5k and 2 water stations for the 10k.
Porta-potties are located in Marcum Park along the walking path where Dayton Street meets Riverfront Plaza.
All finishers receive a medal. Only participants who register before 11/11/25 receive a guaranteed shirt size.
Only service dogs are permitted on the actual course.
Yes. This takes place inside the Courtyar Marriott on Riverfront Plaza starting at 7:00 am and ending at 8:30 am.
No. Gear should be left in your car or with a non-participant family member.
