Globus Medical Life Moves Us 5K/Kids Fun Run

This is a private event.

When: SATURDAY September 24, 2022 we will hold the 6th Annual Life Moves Us 5K and Kids Fun Run for the first time in conjunction with the Globus Company Picnic!  

Race Purpose:     

This fun event will help raise funds for Elle's Angel's Foundation, a local non profit dedicated to helping find a cure for DIPG.  DIPG is an inoperable and incurable cancerous brain tumor located in the middle of the brain stem that typically effects children ages 4-11 and has less than a 1% survival rate.  "How can they send me to the moon, but they can’t cure my daughter.” - Neil Armstrong after losing his 2yo daughter to DIPG in 1962. Of childhood cancer related deaths in this country, brain tumors are the #1 cause of those deaths which receives less than 1% of federal funding for research. Elle's Angel's partners up with children’s hospitals and research departments locally and across the country to help find a cure. Location:             

5K: The course will be two loops around the General Armistead Business Complex. The race will begin adjacent to the pavilion behind 2560. 
Fun Walk: The course will be one loop around the General Armistead Business Complex.
Kids Fun Run: Will be held after the 5K in the grassy area behind the pavilion of the 2560 building.

Awards will follow at the back of the building. Refreshments will be provided at the Company Picnic which will begin immediately after the 5k.

Top 3 Male/Female.

Entry:                   

$20 registration fee will be donated to Elle's Angel's Foundation. Registration is open to Globus and Branch employees and family.  Virtual Race Participant fee is $15. Walkers are also welcome!  There is no fee for your children to participate in the fun run - all children will receive a metal.  Please register your children so we can ensure we have enough metals and t-shirts for all.

Amenities:           

T-shirt (Not guaranteed if you register after August 14th). Award ceremony at approximately 12:30pm.

Other Details:

Strollers are welcome. We will ask that strollers start in the back for safety reasons.
