Join the Glenside 5K Run / 1-Mile Fun Walk and support the 4th of July celebration, proudly hosted by the Greater Glenside Patriotic Association (GGPA).

Since 1904, Glenside has celebrated Independence Day with a full day of community fun—including our beloved parade and fireworks. But did you know it’s 100% funded by donations? By signing up, you’ll help keep this cherished tradition going strong. All proceeds benefit the parade and fireworks display.

📍 Start/Finish: North Penn VFW Post 676, 2519 Jenkintown Rd

🏃 Course: Scenic double-loop through Glenside with rolling hills—great for all levels

☔ Rain or Shine: No refunds

 
Fastest on the Fourth Qualifier
This is the only way to qualify for the Fastest on the Fourth sprint race (approx. 1.4 miles), held before the July 4th parade!

🏁 Top 25 men & women from this race will run the parade route, cheered on by thousands as they kick off Glenside’s Grand, Glorious, Patriotic Parade!
