Description
The 35th Annual Edwin Krawitz Memorial “Race Judicata” Law Day Five-Mile Race and 5K Fun Run will be held Sunday, April 30, 2017, at 9:30 A.M.
The Law Day Race is sponsored by the Monroe County Bar Association and is one of Pennsylvania’s oldest charity race events. The race was renamed after founder and race director of the charity race. Proceeds this year benefit Burnley Workshop of the Poconos, which Ed Krawitz helped to establish in the 1970s.
The Law Day Race is part of a full roster of activities and programs presented each year by the Monroe County Bar Association for Law Day, celebrating the law as the foundation for freedom and fairness in American society.
The race starts at Morey Elementary School, West Main Street, Stroudsburg. Check-in begins at 8:00 A.M., rain or shine.
