Description

Did you know 33 million Americans suffer from lung disease? By joining the 2016 Penn Medicine Radnor Run, you are helping to make a positive impact in the lives of those affected by lung disease. If beauty inspires you, this is the race for you. Known for its challenging but beautiful course, the Radnor Run is a 5 Mile timed running race and 1 Mile Walk/Fun Run. Attracting hundreds of area runners each year, this race has become a Main Line tradition.

The funds raised helps the American Lung Association provide important programs right here in this region. Some of these include asthma camp, clean air in schools, and smoking prevention/cessation for teens and adults. Join us for an inspiring race for an important cause.

When:

Sunday, October 30, 2016
Registration begins at 7:00 am. 5-Mile Race begins at 8:30 am.

Where:

Race START/FINISH is located at the Radnor Township Building, 301 Iven Ave., Radnor, PA 19087.

Parking is at Penn Medicine Radnor (250 King of Prussia Rd., Radnor, PA 19087). Shuttles will run every few minutes between the parking lots and START/FINISH area.

Why:

Join the Fight for Clean Air. Every year close to 342,000 Americans die of lung disease, making it America's number three killer and responsible for one in seven deaths. Startling facts like these bring us together as a community to take a stand against the epidemic in our nation.

The Penn Medicine Radnor Run is a very important fundraiser for the American Lung Association. The money raised helps provide important programs here in our community. Some of these programs include asthma camp, clean air in schools and smoking prevention/cessation for teens and adults.

The American Lung Association has and will continue to play a critical role in the advocacy for clean air. For more information on the ALA's programs and events, please visit www.lung.org or call 1-800-LUNG-USA.
