Upstate Race Series presents the Annual Rivalry Fan 5k!

Are you looking for a fun and unique way to challenge yourself and enjoy some delicious beer? Look no further than this upcoming 5k race! This exciting event combines a running with a beer-tasting experience, offering participants the chance to enjoy the best of both worlds. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun and active way to spend your evening, this race is the perfect opportunity to get outside, challenge yourself, and celebrate your accomplishment with a cold beer.

Prior to the big South Carolina Rivalry game we want to see the fans race it out on the roads! This fast 5k will have fans sitting on the edge of their seats to see who once and for all is the fastest fan base out there! We have a unique scoring style that will challenge every level of runner, age, and gender category! While this is a running event with a competitive category feel free to join us for some pre game action and walk some miles with our team prior to the game! Unlike most major college rivalries, the Carolina–Clemson rivalry did not start innocently or because of competitive collegiate sports. The deep-seated bitterness began between the two schools long before Clemson received its charter and became a college. The two institutions were founded eighty-eight years apart: South Carolina College in 1801 and Clemson Agricultural College in 1889.

The 5k race is open to participants of all ages and abilities, making it a great option for individuals, families, and groups of friends. The course is well-marked and includes plenty of refreshments at the finish. Soft-drinks, Water, Cider, Wine, and of course BEER at the finish will help keep you motivated throughout the race. And when you cross the finish line, you'll be treated with music, food, and plenty of beer. This event promises to be an evening of fun and celebration that you won't want to miss. • Packet Pickup: Will begin 1 hour prior to your race start time inside Think Tank

• Event Shirts - Our local apparel vendor (Graphic Cow) will be processing all shirt orders. Please follow the link below to pre-order a shirt from the list of races. All race specific shirts will be mailed directly to your home address after the event to commemorate your race experience! The store link will be open until the Monday after each race.

The race course is run from Think Tank Brew Lab and runs along the new section of the SRT Greenline! 

Participants Receive:

Join our race for an unforgettable running experience! All participants will receive a handcrafted finisher medal to show off an unforgettable course and race experience. At packet pickup your swag bag will be complete with custom stickers, race bib, and crew socks. There will be music at both the start and finish of your event to energize your experience.
