Join us October 25th  2026 for the 14th Annual Sprout 5K and Fun Run!  

The Sprout 5K supports Sprout Therapeutic Riding & Education Center in Aldie, Virginia—a nonprofit (501(c)(3)) dedicated to changing lives through partnerships with horses. Sprout provides high-quality, adaptive programming that supports the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of individuals with a wide range of diagnoses.

Each week, Sprout serves more than 185 individuals, made possible by the dedication of over 100 volunteers who help bring these life-changing experiences to fruition. Recognized as Loudoun County’s “Best of the Best” Equestrian Facility, Sprout is a leader in delivering inclusive, impactful equine-assisted services.

Proceeds from the Sprout 5K directly fund participant subsidies, need-based scholarships, horse care, facility operations, and specialized adaptive equipment—ensuring that every rider has access to the support they need to grow, thrive, and succeed.

Sprout serves individuals of all ages who are navigating physical, cognitive, social, and emotional challenges—each with their own story, strengths, and goals. Some riders are working to build strength and coordination. Others are finding their voice, gaining confidence, or experiencing connection in a way that feels safe and empowering. What they all share is the opportunity to be seen not for their limitations, but for their potential.

Each week, more than 185 individuals walk through our gates and into a community where they are encouraged, supported, and celebrated. With the help of over 100 dedicated volunteers, riders form powerful partnerships with our horses—partnerships that foster independence, resilience, joy, and a sense of community. Sprout has been recognized as a Platinum-ranked non-profit through Candid, a PATH Premier Center and Loudoun County’s “Best of the Best” Equestrian Facility, but what matters most is what happens within each lesson: moments of progress, confidence, and connection that extend far beyond the barn.

Whether you plan to roll the 1K course, complete your first 5K, or chase a personal best, we invite you to join us for a day of movement, community, and purpose.  

Where: Clyde's Willow Creek Farm at Broadlands, 42920 Broadlands Blvd, Ashburn, VA 20148.
The start and finish lines are on the grounds of Clyde's. 

When: Oct 25, 2026. The 5K will start at 9:00 am and 1K will start immediately after. 

All registered runners will receive a commemorative t-shirt and complimentary food and beverage after the race from Clyde's!   

Registration Fees: Please register by October 2nd to be guaranteed a race shirt.  (shirt must be picked up at packet pick up or at race day registration)

Register Online:  5K: $30, $20 for students (21 & Under)1K: $20.  

Price Increases after Oct. 23, 2026 at 11:59 PM EDT 5K: $40, $30 for students (21 & Under)   1K:$30      

                                                                                                    
Packet Pick-up: Will be at Clyde's at Broadlands on Saturday, October 24th  from 11:00 am-3:00 pm and then on Sunday (race morning) starting at 7:30 am.  

Awards: Medals will be given to all children (12 & Under) who participate in the race. Awards will be given to the first place runners overall (male and female) and the top male and female finishers in each age group; 8 & Under, 9-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 & Over.
