Description
JOIN US November 14 -15 for the Virtual BE BOLD Orchard 5K! This is in conjunction with the BE BOLD Orchard 5K at Bold Rock Carter Mountain on November 14. It's a great option for those of you that would prefer to run, jog or walk from home, and still allow you to be part of the race!
Participate in the Virtual BE BOLD Orchard 5K by yourself, or with your family or roommates. All participants receive an awesome tech tee, and a coupon for 20% off Bold Rock hard cider or Carter Mountain food (and donuts & cider!), good through race weekend.
Once you’ve completed your race, you’ll be able to post your time as well as see how your friends & family members did!
WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RACE
With virtual races you can run, jog or walk on your own time, at your own pace and at a location of your choosing. Your shirt will be shipped directly to you. This is a great way to challenge yourself, your family, friends, or co-workers while not traveling to a physical race. Each person signs up, runs or walks a 5K (3.1 miles) course of their choosing and posts their times online. Virtual races are a good way to stay active, motivated and safe!
HOW IT WORKS
Here are the steps to register and submit your finish time to the Results page. This information will be in the Confirmation Email you will receive after you register.
- Register for the race by October 29.
- Run or walk your 3.1 MILE distance anytime from 9 AM on Saturday, November 14 until Sunday, November 22 at 11:59 PM (note: the deadline has been extended from 11/15/20.) If you prefer, you can do your 5K before race weekend and then upload your results between 11/14 - 11/22.
- Submit your results online and share your day on social media.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR TIME FOR RESULTS
- Record your finish time (save on your phone, running app or write it down).
- Come back to this race page. Make sure you are logged into runsignup.com
- Locate the "Results" tab at the top of the menu
- Click "Submit Virtual Results" button
- Locate your participant information. Once found, click the "Submit Virtual Results" button
SHIRTS
Register by October 29 to get your snazzy technical tee. Shirts will be mailed the week leading up to the race. When registering, your mailing address must be a physical street address and not a Post Office box for proper delivery.

The coupon will be included in your confirmation email after you register. To redeem, print the coupon or show it from your smartphone. Cheers!
