Description
Our Back to Nature Series is back with the favorite Hiawatha Trail! This trail is one of the most iconic trails in the country crossing through both Montana and Idaho. The trail has long been designated for bike riders only, but will now offer a special single day running experience for this race! Run over scenic trestles, past waterfalls, and through some of the longest railroad tunnels open to foot traffic (1.8miles long). This will truly be a running experience of a lifetime!
Registration
The Hiawatha Spring Trail Run is part of Negative Split's trail race series. No day of race registration is allowed. Shirts are only guaranteed for participants registering more than 10 days before the race. Shirts are on a first come first serve basis for those registering less than 10 days before.

This race sells out every year based on the caps set by Lookout Pass and the Forest Service. Sign-up early so you don't miss out!

Virtual Run
The Virtual Run can be completed anytime between November 15, 2024 - June 08, 2025. Virtual runners will have their items mailed to them shortly after the live race (June 08, 2025). Runners can choose to earn a 50k, 25k, 15k, or 10k badge.
