Parking
You will need to park on the side streets or at another lot and walk to the start / finish area (Mill Street Parking Lot will NOT be open for parking). There is also public parking north of the Mill Pond in Downtown and south of Lime Kiln Park.
NOTE: MAIN STREET WILL BE CLOSED BEFORE AND DURING THE EVENT FROM APPLETON AVENUE TO WATER STREET.

Run for Heroes – Support Operation Finally Home
Operation Finally Home provides homes and home modifications to wounded, ill, or injured veterans, first responders, and their families—our everyday Heroes who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedoms.
Since 2005, Operation Finally Home has completed or planned 524 home projects in 39 states including eight Wisconsin families, seven in the greater Milwaukee area and one in Madison. Your support helps them continue their mission: giving Heroes the safe, loving home they deserve.
Join us at the 5K—run, walk, ruck, or cheer—and help raise funds to honor our Heroes with a home. Every step makes a difference!
5K Ruck Challenge
Join the Operation FINALLY Home 5K Ruck! Strap on your rucksack and cover 3.1 miles in support of building mortgage-free homes for wounded veterans and their families. Whether you’re a seasoned rucker or trying it for the first time, this challenge is about more than endurance—it’s about coming together as a community to honor those who have sacrificed for us.

Course
Operation Finally Home uses the paved, public path that follows the Menomonee River. This is a fast and flat course. Course map.
Aid Station
There is one aid station on course and one at the finish line. Both aid stations will have water available. Aid stations may be self serve and we encourage all athletes to carry a water bottle.
Kiddos Run For Free
There will be a Kids 1K run (under 10). All kids will get a bib just like Mom & Dad. The race is FREE for the kiddos if Mom or Dad is registered and you can register on line at no charge. T-shirts are available for purchase for the kiddos.

T-Shirts
The shirts are cotton and those registered noon May 8th are guaranteed a custom race shirt. After that, shirts be available while online supplies last. If you need to order an extra race shirt, you can do so through the store here.
Awards
All participants will receive a custom finisher woodle from our race partner: Ridgeway Woodworks. Top 3 male & female finishers in 5 year age groups will receive age group medals.
The overall male and female will receive a custom Ridgeway Woodworks American Flag. The flag measures 24" x 13".
Timing
The race is chip timed by Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC with a chip start. Your time will start when you cross the start line and stops when you cross the finish line. Please make sure you wear your bib on the front of your person, as Ben is demonstrating to Sasquatch <-------

We need volunteers for everything from aid station support to course marshals. If you or your group have an interest in volunteering, we would greatly appreciate the assistance.

Weather / Refund Policy
Refunds are not permitted for any reason. The event will be held unless severe weather occurs. In the event of severe weather, the race director may delay or cancel the event. If the event is canceled, there will be no refunds. Silver Circle Sports Events has a NO REFUND policy.
How to transfer, defer, change shirt sizes and change distances
- Login into RunSignUp.com
- Select your Profile.
- Scroll down to the race you would like to modify.
- Select "Manage Registration".
- All of your options will be listed in the menu.
- *Deferrals must be completed 10 days prior to event.
