This race has been cancelled due to lack of participation. If you would like to make a donation to help Emily and her family, we are still taking donations.
Join us on a 5K run/walk (or 1 mile run/walk) through the city of Leavenworth, Kansas. Girl Scout Troop 3047 has chosen to make a change in their community, by helping a little girl in need. Emily is a 6 year old from Atchison, KS that has been diagnosed with clear cell carcinoma. She has to have major surgery as well as go through chemotherapy. Please help our Girl Scout Troop achieve their goal of making a change in their community. Every participant will get to enjoy a Chris Cakes pancake breakfast after the race as well as watch Troop 3047 put on a "Wigged Out" Fashion show. Stylists will also be on hand if anyone would like to donate their hair to "Wigs for Kids".
