Running Wild Virtual Run

For 2019, the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Foundation and the Salato Wildlife Education Center will be hosting the Running Wild 4-Mile Virtual Run. In the past, we have hosted the Trail Run, but this year we are opting for a new experience, as the hiking trails at Salato continue to recover from the big storms this past summer. Currently, the trails are open but can not support the amount of trail runners we typically have. The Virtual run will work a little differently. Each participant will run 4 miles, but you get to choose your own path. You simply need to run, then submit your route and time to info@kentuckywildlife.com. Submitting your information can begin Friday, March 22nd, but it must be completed by Saturday, March 23rd by 1 pm to be entered into the prize drawing, which will take place March 23rd at 3 pm at the Salato Center and on Facebook Live!

Registration is $25 and must be completed by Wednesday, March 13th. Registration includes an entry into the prize drawing upon submission of race info, a T-shirt, and admission to the Salato Center on March 23rd. The prizes will be chosen randomly from participants that submit their race info on time. T-shirt pickup will be at the Salato Center on Friday March 22nd from 9 am to 5 pm, and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.
