Description
The PTO of North DeSoto Upper Elementary proudly presents The 15th Annual Griffin 5K & ½ Mile Fun Run.
*All proceeds from the race will go to purchase needed equipment and supplies for our school.
Date & Starting Time: Thursday, March 26, 2026
½ mile fun run starts at 5:00 p.m.
5k starts at 5:30 p.m.
Course Description: RACE IS ON NORTH DESOTO CAMPUS ONLY. Race starts on NDHS TRACK. ½ mile Fun Run is run solely on the NDHS Track, so parents are welcome to spectate from the stands.
Registration: STUDENTS 18 & Under = $15.
ALL OTHER PARTICIPANTS = Early Registration is $20 until midnight March 13.
$25 through midnight March 25.
Race day Registration is $30.
REGISTER EARLY! SWAG bags will be given to the first 150 registrants.
No shirts guaranteed to late registrants. You must register by March 13th to guarantee a race shirt.
Packet Pick Up times and locations:
Tuesday, March 24 from 12 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Sportspectrum
Wednesday, March 25 from 10 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the school.
You may also pick up your packet on Race Day at the Race Site starting at 3:30pm.
Awards: Overall Male & Female finishers will receive a $25 Gift Certificate and a medal.
Additionally, 1st & 2nd Place male & female in each age group will get a medal.
Age Groups: 11 & under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Post Party: Be sure to stay after the race for refreshments and awards!!
Special Note: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only. Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on the run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
