RIDE THROUGH THE WILDS OF LOWER MICHIGAN’S LARGEST PARK!
Given Waterloo Recreational Area’s glacial history, the bike courses will vary from rolling hill climbs and swift descents to winding curves and rare straightaways. Some roads will be paved. Others may be patched. Most will be dirt and rock. Expect to get dusty. Expect to get grimy. Expect to have the time of your life!
Please note, after two years of selling out we have outgrown our previous start/finish location. The race will now start and end at Robin Hills Farm in Chelsea, MI. It's close enough to the old routes that the courses will be familiar for those of you who have raced with us before while at the same time allowing us to grow in the coming years.

While we started with Grand Rapids Triathlon and Michigan Titanium, we have since expanded into gravel cycling, road cycling, trail running, and road running while not forgetting our tri roots. New for 2024 will be a tri series including all 6 of our triathlons (Grand Rapids Tri, Michigan Titanium, Grand Haven Tri, Bear Lake Tri, and our two gravel triathlons, Ugly Dog Gravel Tri and The Dirty Mitten). We also produce three gravel bike events: Waterloo G+G, The Dirty Mitten Gravel Bike Race, & Rode To Hell along with the state's largest road bike event, Grand Rapids Gran Fondo. If running is your thing be sure to check out the Armed Services Marathon and the Brainy Day trail run. We have something for everyone!
