Description
Celebrate the start of Summer with us at the Summer Fun 5k and mile! The DeWitt Area Running Team (DART) will be hosting this premier event at the DeWitt YMCA and is for anyone and everyone who enjoys being active and having fun. Please join us for a 5k Run/Walk, 1 mile Run/Walk, and a kids 100 meter DART dash! The 5k is chipped timed with all miles marked. Awards to the top 3 in age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74. 75-79, 80 and over
Mile run: Open to all ages. Chipped timed. All kids 12 and under receive a medal. Awards to top 3 male and female 39 and under and 40 and over.
Are you or your children looking to do your first 5k? This is a perfect event to run on a safe and fun course!
Run/Walk 5k entry - $25 (RACE DAY $30)
D.A.R.T. Mile - $10 for ages 12 and under (discount is automatically applied during checkout). $15 for ages 13 and above
100 meter D.A.R.T. dash - FREE
Early Packet Pick Up: Saturday, June 6th at the DeWitt YMCA from 9:00 AM - 12 Noon
Race Day Packet Pick Up: DeWitt YMCA 7:30 AM - 8:45 AM
The race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and on the web at Playmakers.com.

Governor's Council Endorsement & Michigan Fitness Challenge
