Kameesha will attend MSU in August to study Anthropology. She loves the fine arts such as singing, dancing and acting. On her downtime you can always find her reading fiction novels. Since a young kid, she has had an interest for other cultures and wanted to learn more about them and her goal is to travel to get a firsthand experience. With the knowledge that she will  gain through her studies in school, she is hoping to make her dreams become a reality and share it with the world!

Starting in 2018, The Rosemary Myrick Memorial was able to award $1500 in college scholarship money.  We were able to give one deserving Alcona Track athlete a $1,000 scholarship and Adeline (Rosemary's daughter) $500 towards her education account.  Each year, we hope we can grow and give back even more.  Our goal for upcoming years is to give out TWO (2) $1,000 scholarships to local students and to continue to add to Adeline's education account.

Lunch will be catered by the famous Chris Cakes out of Claire, MI and will consist of a Taco Bar.
