Description
Event is Saturday October 6th, 2019, 5K starts at 5 PM, registration opens at 3:30. The 1K race will start at 5:15. 15 minutes after the start of the 5K. Costume judging is at 4:30. . Awards given to top male and female 5K finishers, top boy and girl under 12. Top two Special Olympic athletes will receive awards in the 5K and 1K..
Best glow costumes will receive awards. (Top male, top female and top boy and girl under 12)
The course starts on the corner of HIllsdale Fair Grandstands and follows the bike trail out and back.
100% of proceeds from this event will go to support Hillsdale and Lenawee Area 29 Special Olympics athletes and their travel expenses to participate in the state Olympic games.
Participant swill receive the coveted Night Glow t-shirts, bragging rights for running under the stars and the opportunity to help Special Olympics Athletes.
