Parenting Communities of Leelanau Snowshoe Stompede

Northern Michigan Families and winter enthusiasts:

We are excited to announce that Parenting Communities of Leelanau County is hosting a Snowshoe Tromp February 23rd, to raise funds for Parenting Communities and celebrate the wonderful winter we have had! The event will take place at 45 North on Horn Road. Events will begin at 1pm with a 5k snowshoe race, and at 1:30pm with a kids' 1/2 mile race. We welcome families not interested in competing to come enjoy the trails at their own pace, trails will be open to non-competitive users at 1:45.We will have children and adult snowshoes available for the public on a first come first serve basis. Enjoy post race fun around a fire, with hot chocolate and homemade goodies. Race tickets are $20 for the 5k and $5 for the 1/2 mile. We ask for donations instead of fees for non-racers.
