Cannonball Run Aquathon

The man made William H. Haithco Recreation Area is a 76-acre public park in Saginaw Charter Township, Michigan maintained by the Saginaw County Parks and Recreation Commission. Conveniently  located adjacent to I-675 at the Tittabawassee road exit will provide the venue for this Swim - Run Aquathon. This lake was made when the construction of the 675 bypass finished and created a naturally spring fed clear lake which Saginaw Parks and Recreation turned into a great county park. Team ATP of the Saginaw area has brought us in to host this 3 aquathon event series. We have developed two great courses for both the veteran swimmer/runner multi-sport athlete as well as a perfect event for the new multi-sport athlete that may not be ready for a long distance.  

If you need to work on the open water swim, if you need to get more comfortable in the open water this was designed with you in mind. Few multi-sport athletes can say they don't need work in that area. The veterans can use this as a great brick workout to wake up the legs after a weekend of racing to get ready for the upcoming weekend of racing or just to work on specific areas like transition, all in a great park suited perfectly for an event like this.
