2024 Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival 5k/10k run and 5k non competitive walk

Flat and fast courses around Shepherd during the Maple Syrup Festival.  The 5k walk is non competitive.  Competitors choosing to run the 10k must be able to complete the event in 62 minutes (10 min pace) due to traffic issues and an agreement with the festival and law enforcement.  All events will be chip timed in 2024.  Kids Fun Run will be at 9AM starting just outside the track finish line.  No registration needed for the fun run.

***Please Note:  Race giveaways (breakfast ticket, race shirt, and commemorative glass) are guaranteed for everyone who registers by 3/27/24  After this date giveaways will be given out in order of registration until gone.  Once supply is gone they will be unavailable.  To guarantee giveaways you must be registered by 3/27/24.  As shirt sizes become unavailable they will not show up for you to select.  Once sizes are gone they are unavailable.  Select a size that is still available or select "no shirt" when you register.  

5k Race Divisions:  9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.

10k Race Divisions:  14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over      (We will adjust the number of divisions if the number of competitors in divisions is over 10)

Packet pickup will be available at the Shepherd High School track complex on Friday as it has in the past.  Exact times will be emailed the week of the race.
