St Clair River Turkey Trot 5K Run

10th Annual St. Clair River Turkey Trot 5K Run on November 5

Sign up now for this fun family-friendly annual event which takes place on Saturday morning, November 5. This is the 10th annual running of this 5K race (3.1 miles) along the majestic St. Clair River and is sure to be another great race. The starting gun goes off promptly at 9AM from directly in front of the Riverview Plaza in downtown St. Clair. Medals will be awarded immediately after the race about 10AM for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers, both male & female, in 12 different age brackets. In addition, a special 1st place Overall and 1st place “Masters” (age 40 & up) for both male & female will be awarded.

Onsite registration opens that morning at 8AM in the courtyard behind Achatz Restaurant but it is always best to register in advance. Those that sign up in advance by Friday, October 21 will receive a long-sleeved runners “moisture wicking” shirt (sized from Youth Medium to Adult 2XL). After that or for race day registrations, the price will be $30.

The race will be professionally timed again this year by Rotpac Racing using RFID electronic chips for greatest accuracy. All proceeds from this race go to charitable causes. All are welcome to participate or to just come along and cheer on your friends.
