**EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED!**
Due to complications with track being changed and re-certifying the track complications we regretfully have to cancel this race for the 2017 year. We do apologize for any inconvenience.
This is a 5k run/walk event. The course is timed and certified. The purpose of this Run is to raise money and awareness surrounding PTSD and the impact it has on our Veterans and First Responders. The funds raised will be donated back to veterans organizations that work in our community.
Come join the Westland Area Jaycees in a fun run to honor our veterans. We will walk and run the streets of the All American city in honor of those who have fought for our Country. Come out and have a great day out with the family and provide assistance to our local area heroes! The Jaycees will partner and work together, to provide resources and programs for area veterans.
Baby Joggers are allowed but must go towards the back.
USA Track & Field certified course MI 15006 SH.
The race starts at 9am sharp with runners in the front and then for walkers following. It is strongly suggested that you try to be there by 8AM to account for road closure, parking, and any opening ceremonies. The race will start and end at Thomas H. Brown Central City Park
