2020 Susan G. Komen Twin Cities 20 Has Been Cancelled
Dear Twin Cities 20 Participant:
We hope this message finds you and your family and friends safe and healthy. We want to update you on our plans for the 2020 Susan G. Komen Twin Cities 20. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and progression and the evolving guidance we have received from state and federal officials and medical experts, and after much consideration, we are sad to share that we must cancel the event. The safety and well-being of our participants, volunteers, staff and community is our top concern. Nothing is more important to us. Due to the unique nature and format of this event, it is clear that we cannot guarantee the safety of those involved and therefore we cannot host the event. It is unclear at this time when large-scale events like organized walks and runs will be safe to hold, so at this point we are not rescheduling the event for 2021.
We know this news is disappointing, however, we hope that you will understand and appreciate our decision. We are happy to refund your registration fee or you are always welcome to convert it to a general donation to Susan G. Komen. Please let us know your decision by June 5, 2020. We need your help now more than ever as we work to help those most at risk during this challenging time.
We have faith in the power of the Susan G. Komen community and the spirit that you all embody. We will get through this unprecedented period and emerge stronger on the other side.
We hope to see you at future Susan G. Komen events and we look forward to the day that we can all join together once again to continue to support our breast cancer community…and one day find the cures.

Description
The 1st Annual Susan G. Komen Twin Cities 20, A Walk to End Breast Cancer, will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020! The route will take participants on a 20 mile trek from Southdale Center in Edina, Minnesota to the State Capital in St. Paul, Minnesota. Join us as we gather to raise funds, bring awareness, celebrate cancer survivorship and honor those who have lost their battle to the disease.
Events:
20 MILE WALK (AGES 13 & OLDER): A non-competitive women’s, men's, and children's scenic walk that starts in Edina and finishes in St. Paul, MN.
VIRTUAL WALKER: Can't join us in person for the walk? Register to be a virtual participant! If you are going to be out of town, working or prefer to snooze instead of lacing up your walking shoes, this is the event for you!
Registration Fee:
Now through July 24th is $40.00 (All Ages)
Required Fundraising Minimums:
Adult (Ages 22 & Older) required fundraising minimum is $750.00
Youth (Ages 13-21) required fundraising minimum is $500.00
Virtual (All Ages) required fundraising minimum is $750.00
*Your entire fundraising minimum is due by the day of the Walk. If you have not raised your entire amount by the day of the Walk, you can turn in additional donations or self-donate to meet your required fundraising minimum.
