Run for the Raptors 5k, 6.7M (trail)

Friends of Lakeside Nature Center (FOLNC) is proud to be hosting its third annual trail run.  We are the 5013c non-profit organization that helps support Lakeside Nature Center with volunteers and funding to help run one of the largest native wildlife rehabilitaion hospitals in the state!  You will experience a challenging and beautiful 5K walk, 5K and 10K run set in the wooded dirt single track of the Swope Trails, designed and built by Heartland Outside.  During the run, you will encounter limestone rocky outcroppings while meandering through a mature Oak/Hickory forest while having a chance to explore one of the nicest trail systems in the city!

This will be a very family friendly event and Lakeside Nature Center staff and volunteers will have a few of our resident raptors at the run so you can meet them up close!
