The Nordic Dance Invitational Ski Race consists of a 500m, 1k , 4k skate, 8k skate, 40k skate ski race for all ages and abilities, held at UM Golf Course in Missoula, MT. Why is it called the Nordic Dance Invitational, you ask? All skiers who complete a group a dance (2 or more people) receive the Nordic Dance package of stunner shades.
9:00am - Check in opens (open all day)
9:30am - 1km - skate or classic & 500 meters, 7 and under
*Wave 1 - 1k *Wave 2 - 500m
10:15am - 4km (1 lap) - skate mass start
11:15am - 8km (2 laps) - skate mass start
12:30pm - 40km (10 laps) - skate mass start
*All podiums after each event
*All dances after each podium
*Final dances can be repeated again if desired at 3pm BBQ
- bbq included with registration and served 11:30 - 5pm
- top 3 podiums for all ages within distances - medals
- group dances organized and after each event

Welcome to the Montana Nordic Cup - Montana's premier nordic skiing league for competitors of all abilities!
Everyone who participates in a Montana Nordic Cup race is automatically entered into the series and accumulates points at every race.
Just go race, have fun, and check back here for updated points after every race!
Age groups: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, U20, Open Male, Open Female, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
RULES:
- Racer's age calculation date is December 31st of the current ski season.
- If you do 2 or more races per event, they both score.
- Longest race of the day (per event) will score 25, 24, 23, 22.......
- The second longest race of the day (per event) will score 20, 19, 18, 17.......
- The third longest race of the day (per event) will score 18, 19, 17, 16......
- The fourth longest race of the day (per event) will score 17, 16, 15, 14....
- The fifth longest race of the day (per event) will score 16, 15, 14, 13......
- Points tie breaker is whoever placed better in the most recent Cup event.
- Leaders must ski in golden bib at events
