Meet Steve Votaw
My name is Steve Votaw and I started out in the corporate world in medical sales. I represented several companies in the cardiac device space. Those devices included cardiac pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, cardiac stents, and prosthetic heart valves. In that career, I was a part of the implant surgical team. These devices improved our patient’s lives and in some cases- life sustaining! It was a very interesting and personally satisfying endeavor.
I was introduced to whole body cryotherapy by a close friend and colleague from my cardiac device days. The co-founder of Impact Cryo-Spa Company is also a colleague from the cardiac rhythm management days and my friend opened OC CryoSport in Newport Beach. The three of us had identical early on experiences in patient care, improving people’s lives. Therefore whole body cryotherapy sparked our interest because it has many benefits in terms of recovery, alternative pain management, and overall wellness.
SO A LITTLE OVER TWO YEARS AGO I OPENED VALLEY CRYOSPORT WHOLE BODY CRYOTHERAPY.
In 2018 we took on two additional services and product lines. We became operational with Cryoskin 3.0 in June. The Cryoskin 3.0 slimming treatment is similar to other cool sculpting methods in that it produces thermal shock that kills FAT CELLS. Primarily it is for those areas you just can’t get rid of, no matter how hard you try. It is a painless alternative to other modalities.
The last service/product offerings is the Pharmanex BioPhotonic Scanner. This scanner Non-inversely measures carotenoid levels in living tissue, providing an immediate indication of a person’s overall antioxidant levels. It is generally accepted that inflammation is the basis of the disease state. Antioxidants are your protection against those free radicals responsible for the inflammation. Intuitively we have thought that our supplementation was working, but really had no hard evidence to prove it. The scanner in about 40 seconds will give you a numerical score measuring the carotenoids, the antioxidants that come from consumption of pigmented fruits and vegetables. So now you can know whether you are consuming enough in your diet and in your supplementation regimen.
Overall, I opened Valley CryoSport to improve the lives of my clients and make them look and feel their best! I firmly believe in every treatment we have on board and am proud to offer these services to the Central Valley.
