17th Annual NCRC Classic Half Marathon and 10K

The NCRC Classic Half-marathon & 10K Races are now in their 17th year and considered to be one of the Triangle area’s premier distance races.

In previous years, over 1,000 runners have participated in the event which is produced by the North Carolina Roadrunners Club and this year will we be sponsored by Omega Sports.

Registration Fees:

Half Marathon (part of the Second Empire Series):

The entry fee ($50 until December 31, $55 between January 1 and March 31 and $60 from April 1 until race day) includes a medal and t-shirt (ONLY IF YOU REGISTER BEFORE MAY 6, 2015).

10K:

The entry fee ($25 until December 31, $30 between January 1 and March 31 and $35 from April 1 until race day) includes a t-shirt (ONLY IF YOU REGISTER BEFORE MAY 6, 2015).

Medal:    

Only Half Marathon Finishers will receive a Medal

Second Empire Series:    

The NCRC Classic Half Marathon is part of the Second Empire 2015 Grand Prix Series. Runners who participate in these races accumulate points and are awarded money and prizes at an awards banquet held at the Second Empire Restaurant at the conclusion of the Series. Triple Crown Series:    

The Triple Crown Series is proud to announce that the Tobacco Road Half Marathon, the NCRC Classic Half Marathon, and the Race 13.1 Midtown Raleigh, have partnered to sponsor the Spring Triple Crown Medal 2015. In appreciation for your support of all 3 local races, a unique Triple Crown Medal will be presented at the Race 13.1 finish line. There is no explicit registration process for the Triple Crown Series. Participants register for each race in the Series individually and participants that register for all three races are automatically entered in to the series for free. Important Note: the Tobacco Road Half Marathon is expected to cap-out in January so it is recommended that you register for that race soon.
