Omaha Kids Triathlon

The Omaha Kids Triathlon returns this year as part of the race weekend with the Omaha Triathlon at the fabulous Lake Cunningham Recreation Area or Lake "C"!

USA Triathlon and Race Omaha are providing Free Annual Youth Memberships if you don't currently have a youth membership for the registrant.  Please go to https://www.teamusa.org/usa-triathlon and click on Join/Renew.   Use Code OmahaYouth for a free annual youth membership.   Once submitted, you are issued a membership number that must be entered during registration for any Race Omaha youth or high school eligible race i.e. the Omaha Triathlon Sprint for High School on July 16th, 2023.

 All courses are adjusted to age appropriate distances (i.e. shorter distances for the younger age groups and older for the more senior). The Swim course is directly out from the boat ramp and dock.  The Bike Course is on the main park road from Entrance 1 to the transition area.  The Run course is on the newly paved trails around the scenic park and lake.  The course and distances are updated on the RaceOmaha.com event page for the Omaha Kids Triathlon. 

All participants will receive a finisher medal, complimentary t-shirt. The top 3 in each group will receive awards for both male and female.  The age group are 6-8 years, 9-10 years, 11-12 years, 13-14 years.  Please Note:  Age is determined by what your age will be on December 31st the year the event occurs!  For example, if your birthday is November 15th, 2023, and your age is currently 10, you are actually in the 11 to 12 year age group.  Basically everyone ages up.   The registration system calculates your race age based upon your birth-date automatically so don't worry!
