Mid-Atlantic Prep League Cross Country Championship

The twentieth annual MAPL Cross-Country Championship will be conducted at The Peddie School on Wednesday October 26th, with a bad weather date of Thursday October 27th. The Girls Varsity race is scheduled to start at 1:30pm. Following the completion of the Boys varsity race, the Boys varsity race will begin at 2:00pm. The Futures Race, a mixed gender Futures race, will start at approximately 2:45pm.

The route will be marked in accordance with National High School Federation rules which dictate the use of colored flags to designate changes of direction. The flags will be supplemented by a white marking on the ground in some areas to aid runners. Course marshals will also be present at critical points to guide runners.

Each runner will be assigned a bib number and will be required to wear the number pinned to the front of their jersey.

The runners who come to the line for the varsity race will be declared as your Varsity seven. No need to declare these runners prior to them coming to the line. Runners who do not compete in the Varsity races may compete in the mixed gender Futures race.
