Ugly Sweater 5K

Eddy County CASA is excited to host the annual Ugly Sweater 5K Run & Walk! This is a fun-filled event for every person: the serious runner, the recreational jogger, walkers, and our furry friends. Dust off your ugliest holiday sweater or holiday colors and enjoy a nice run, jog, or stroll through the beach area on accessible paths of Carlsbad, NM. This joyful event begins on Saturday, November 30 at 8 am at Beach Bandshell and is the kick off to Carlsbad's annual Christmas festivities.

This event's proceeds go to Eddy County CASA which provides advocacy for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the courts system, through the recruitment, training, and support of effective volunteer advocates. This is an easy way to support those that advocate for our most vulnerable children in the county and do something for yourself as well!

Prizes will be awarded for the top Overall Male/Female and winner of Ugliest Sweater Contest.

At the finish line, enjoy hot chocolate and holiday treats!
