Medved's Merrier Games (FREE!)

Our special brand of seasonal nonsense returns with the Christmas-themed Merrier Games on Thursday, December 12, 2024!  

We are excited to be gaming back in Fairport at the Triphammer Bierwerks for our next running Holiday Scavenger Hunt and our friends from Brooks will be joining in the fun!   

Game day check-in will open at 5:30 PM and the Games will start promptly at 6:15 PM. Team captains should have completed check-in by 6 PM.

Teams of 5 -10 (the most a team can have is ten participants) will work together to complete challenges and acquire checkpoints within a set time limit of seventy-five minutes. Half scavenger hunt, half adventure race, extra nonsense, total fun!

The Team Captain will be required to have their cell phone on them at all times during the Games.

Team Captains sign up and create their team name and then players can select the team to join when they sign up.

Don't have a team? No problem, sign up on the Free Agent team.

Game Rules:

• A choose your own adventure scavenger hunt, runners will earn points by visiting various locations and completing challenges.
• You will receive the scavenger hunt list and area map at Merrier Games check-in on game day.
• To claim your points for each location/challenge, you must post a picture of your entire team at a designated location to the Medved Running & Walking Outfitters Group Facebook page.  Please make sure you are a member of this group prior to game day!
• Posts are eligible to earn you points between the designated race time.  Any posts after this time will not count.
• All participants are required to follow traffic, pedestrian, and social distancing guidelines at all times.
• Headlamps & Reflective gear are required.

Bonus Points:

• Earn bonus points by bringing a new, unwrapped toy donation for The Pirate Toy Fund.
• Earn bonus points by dressing up in a Christmas costume!
• Earn bonus points by wearing Brooks gear/shoes to the Games!
