Maple Leaf 5K and 10K

Due to concerns for COVID-19, we have extended the registration deadline and changed the Maple Leaf 5K/10K to a virtual race.  Details below.  This year, all participants get a shirt and 1st Place syrup trophy!

12th ANNUAL GRANVILLE KIWANIS MAPLE LEAF 5K/10K – Everyone wins!

We are excited to offer this virtual race to encourage everyone to stay active for their own physical and mental health. Most competitive runners/walkers are missing the community spirit of in-person races, but we hope people will embrace the virtual race concept and run their own BEST race! 1st Place to All!

2020 VIRTUAL RACE DETAILS

For the safety of participants and our volunteers during COVID, the 2020 event is virtual.

Registration Fee: $20  ($10 for youth aged 12 and under)

All registered participants will receive an Event Shirt and a 1st Place Maple Syrup Trophy!

To guarantee a race shirt and syrup trophy, Register by October 12. Registration closes Oct. 17. 

Register then run/walk your own race – anytime, anywhere! 

RACE DATE/TIME:  Complete your 1 mile, 5K or 10K anytime between Sept. 26 and Oct. 26.

Participants will receive an email with the date and location to pickup shirts and trophies, or arrange for delivery. Shirts will be available 1-2 weeks after registration closes.

Entries are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

All proceeds benefit our community by supporting the Granville Kiwanis Foundation (501(c)(3)) and Granville Kiwanis’ projects for children. Recent major projects include the Wildwood Park Playground Rebuild, the Boys and Girls Club of Newark, the Granville HS Athletic Complex, the Fire Department ATV and the annual Granville Kiwanis 4th of July Celebration. The club supports many youth service leadership programs including the GHS Key Club, Key Leader, the GMS Builders Club, the GES K-Kids, the Aktion Club, Scouts, various Boosters, the Land Lab, 4-H Clubs and funds many scholarships.

The Maple Leaf 5K/10K is typically one of our many fundraisers. However this year, thanks to COVID, it may be our biggest fundraiser, and only with the support of our dedicated sponsors. Be a Sponsor!
