Description
Join us for the Dash for Camp 5K Run/Walk annual fundraising event taking place on Saturday, November 9, at Merchant Park/Heritage Rail Trail in Hilliard! Proceeds from the event support Camp Hamwi, which serves children and teens who are living with diabetes. Camp Hamwi has allowed these campers to have an authentic camp experience while learning how to manage their diabetes.
Come join in on the fun and enjoy refreshments, camp games, and socializing before the 5K kicks off!
The Dash for Camp is a chance to make an impact! To get involved further, we encourage participants to create or join a fundraising team for the chance to win a prize while raising funds for a good cause.

Packet Pickup
Save time in line on race morning by picking up your packet at early packet pickup! Early packet pickup will take place at Columbus Running Company's Dublin location (6465 Perimeter Dr, Dublin, OH 43016) on Thursday, November 7 (10 am to 8 pm) and Friday, November 8 (10 am to 6 pm). There will also be race day packet pickup on race morning (Saturday) at the race site (Merchant Park) starting at 8:00 am.
Parking
Anyone attending the race is encourage to park in the parking lot right before the Heritage Rail Trailhead/Makoy Center. Plug 5467 Center St, Hilliard, OH 43026 into your GPS to head to Merchant Park. On your drive in, you will reach the designated parking lot (below) just before you get to the Makoy Center. Please note that there will be NO PARKING permitted in the Makoy Center parking lot due to an event taking place at the Makoy Center on the morning of the 5K. There will be parking volunteers directing cars to park in the designated parking lot as they are arriving for the race and to refrain from parking in the Makoy Center lot.
On the map below, the parking lot outlined in YELLOW is available for parking, but spots that are marked in BLUE will be off limits. As mentioned above, there will be parking volunteers directing folks to park in these spots on race morning. This lot is only a short walk from the start/finish line at Merchant Park.

8:00 am - Race Day Packet Pickup Begins at Merchant Park (5467 Center St, Hilliard, OH 43026). *Please note that there is NO race day registration
9:30 am - 5K begins
10:15 - 10:30 am - Awards announced at Merchant Park
Awards
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female finishers in each of the following categories:
19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up
