Race for a Cause

What? The annual “Race for a Cause” is a 5k run/3k walk event held every year for the past eight years by the University of Toledo's Student Academy of the American Association of Physician Assistants branch (SAAAPA). This year,l proceeds will be donated the Sparrow’s Nest (a women’s shelter) of the Cherry Street Mission Ministries.

When? The race will be held on September 13th, 2014 at 8:30am. Registration will begin at 7am and will close at 8:15am. Open per-registration dates are still TBA, but late-registration will be held for the two weeks leading up to the race.

Where? The race/walk will be held on University of Toledo's Health Science campus on a flat/pavement course that runs alongside the full extent of the academic and medical facilities. The race begins in the main parking lot of the hospital and wraps around the Collier and Medical facility to end in the same location.
