Do The Hustle 5K

The Hustle 5k celebrates the 1970s, the era before seatbelts, when men walked on the moon, carpets were shag, and polyester leisure suits were cool. The Hustle focuses on the carefree style of the decade with a groovy run in the middle of Portland's summer. It starts at high noon and kicks off a whole weekend of fun called The 8 Track Experience.

Music on the easy-breezy, fast course will keep you movin' and groovin'. Era dress will transport you in time, releasing your inner John Travolta and Farrah Fawcett.

After your run, grab a cocktail or a cold beer. Hit the kick ass slip n' slide to cool down or soothe your muscles with a FREE hot shower before you hit the dance floor. The disco ball will be spinning and sparkling. Don't miss the one-of-a-kind evening fireworks show.

Course
The Hustle is a scenic and sanctioned 5K course that runs alongside a nature preserve and a golf course. It is mostly flat, with just a couple of slight rises and descents. Half of the course is paved, the other half is packed gravel (road shoes are appropriate). Live music at the start and finish, 1970s tunes on course and two water stations keep your spirit and body fueled.
