Join Scoogie Events for an 8 week challenge that will help prepare you for when we finally have our first event of 2020!
At Scoogie Events our whole mission is to spread positive vibes & create contagious smiles😃. We're here to help you in a virtual way.
Why: Because we believe that optimism can take you anywhere!
What: An 8 week virtual challenge consisting of 4 separate events: A 5k, 10k, 10 Miler & Half Marathon.
How: 1. Run 1 event or all 4 on YOUR TIME and at YOUR LOCATION. (even at home on a treadmill) 2. Submit your results (SUPER EASY instructions below! You can even text them) Note: Your run time is NOT important, striving to keep it positive is😁.
How much does it cost: We believe that passing on the power of positivity should be FREE. Therefore, your money stays in your wallet.
Incentives: Complete 1 (or all 4) challenges and receive a REALLY AWESOME Scoogie Events Buff! The Buffs will be able to be picked up at ANY one of our many Fall events! At this time we are anticipating being able to have all five Fall events. But if this changes, we will make alternative plans to get you your Buff! Simply register for a Fall event (once registration opens in August) and then shoot us an email and let us know which Fall event you'd like us to bring the Buff to and it'll be waiting for you😁 Note: If at the time that the Fall events roll around you do not feel comfortable enough to participate in the run, NO WORRIES, simply email us that you don't feel comfortable participating yet and we will tell you which event to come to in order to pick up your Buff and you don't even have to get out of your car...we will bring you the Buff to you while you wait in your car😃 We will not be mailing any buffs. Complete ALL 4 challenges and automatically get entered into a raffle to win 2 FREE 2020 SCOOGIE EVENTS!
What we ask in return: Help pass on the power of positivity by posting a photo of your run(s). (or a positive/inspiring quote) to help motivate others🙌.
👉🏻HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS: (There are a few ways to submit them, whatever’s easiest for you) This is not a timed event, but more of a fun challenge. WE WON’T POST YOUR RESULTS ANYWHERE. 💥However, please DEFINITELY SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS so that we can verify that you ran that particular distance/challenge so that you will in turn qualify for the Scoogie Events BUFF! Please submit your results for EACH DISTANCE/CHALLENGE that you register & run by any of the following ways: 1. Post them on the Scoogie Events QUARANTEAM STRONG Facebook event page (if you want others to see your results) (along with your photos of your run!) 2. Email them to us (we will keep them private). email@example.com 3. Click on the Scoogie Events RunSignUp website (which is the website you used to register for your particular event) and click on RESULTS tab at the top and follow the prompts to post your results…(it’s a bit more labor intensive, but if you’re computer savvy…you got this👌)
💥Also, (AND THIS IS IMPORTANT)… IN ADDITION TO POSTING YOUR RESULTS (by one of the ways above), you MUST (please😊)…post your happy run photos or positive quotes/affirmations on our QUARANTEAM STRONG Virtual Challenge Facebook event page!!!💥
