You are invited to participate in Booker T. Washington MS54's 2022 Turkey Trot! This event and fundraising efforts will help fund programs, activities, staff, supplies, and technology for our school community.
There are 2 ways to participate:
Virtually - From November 18th - November 28th, you can run or walk 5k (3.1 miles) any place on your own time.
In Person - 9:30 a.m., November 20th in Central Park, you can run or walk 5k (3.1 miles). Location: Arthur Ross Pinetum West, at West 85th Street, east of the Inner Drive.
So grab your friends and family and run/walk together! The fee is $20 for adults; participants under 17 are free!
Event Day(s):
1. Log onto your race page and get your printable, personalized bib to wear when you do your virtual run or walk.
2. Run or Walk 5K (3.1 miles). You can do this in person at Central Park on November 20 or over various days through November 28.
3. Take photos or videos at the start, along the way, and at the finish. Use #ms54turkeytrot in your social posts.
4. When you have completed the distance that you signed up for, click here to enter your overall time.
5. Share photos on MS54's PTA Facebook page and email them to comms@ms54pta.org to post on Booker T's Instagram account.

The sale has ended! Delivery to your child's homeroom is expected by the week of November 14th.
Don't forget to purchase MS 54's limited edition 2022 Turkey Trot tech shirt! Purchases must be made by Monday, November 7th.
FAQ
When does the Virtual Event Start/End? This is a virtual race so you can complete your distance anywhere and anytime from November 18 - November 28. You can pick any day and set your own start time you want to run/walk.
Can I do the 5K over multiple days? YES! If you want to break it up over multiple workouts throughout the day, or multiple days, just keep track of your time and enter your total time.
Can I Walk? YES! This event is for all levels and abilities. Run, Walk, Jog, Skip - choose whatever you prefer and have fun!
How much of the registration fee is donated? 100% of the proceeds will be donated to MS54. The MS54 PTA funds important educational enrichment and supplies that are not covered by the NYC Department of Education including classroom supplies and apps, library books, musical instruments, and after-school programming.
What does Special Pricing mean? If you are 17 or under, your registration fee is FREE.
Where do I enter My Results? CLICK HERE to view the results page and click the "Submit Virtual Results Button"
Can I invite friends and relatives? Absolutely! Please post and share the race page with all your friends, relatives, and neighbors. You can also "Create a Group/Team" and invite others to join your team.
