About the Race

Splash For a Cure 5K is IGF's longest running and main fundraiser event. The event began in 2009 as an evening pool party held on or near Ishan's birthday. The event is now a family friendly 5K walk/run fundraiser to raise awareness about childhood cancer, funds for important programs at IGF and honors local families impacted by children's cancer. After the race, participants can enjoy snacks, drinks, awards ceremony, and honor IGF families.

The heart behind Splash for a Cure 5K

Ishan Gala Foundation's mission is to be present in the lives of children fighting cancer and their families to improve quality of life during and after treatment. IGF provides financial assistance, comfort packages, birthday surprises, holiday help, and everything in between. IGF not only supports the child fighting and the parents but siblings too. We believe that while the child is diagnosed, the whole family fights together.
