LIABILITY WAIVER AND RACE AGREEMENT: In consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I, intending to be legally bound do hereby for myself, my heirs, executor, and administrators, waive and release forever any and all rights to claims or damages I may have against Fresno County Search and Rescue, , sponsors, volunteers, race officials, the City of Shaver Lake, Fresno County, Southern California Edison, State of California, and all other parties with this event. I attest to being fully trained and fit to participate and have full knowledge of the risks involved. I also give my permission for the free use of my name(s), photo and/or voice in any broadcast, telecast, print account or any other account in any medium of this event. I understand that the run course is open to participants for four(4) hours. Cancellation Policy. We adhere to the standard running industry policy. All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. You may email a request to defer your entry, but it is not guaranteed. Under no circumstance will a deferral be granted within 2 weeks prior to the event date.

I am participating in the Fresno County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue SAR Wild Run at my own risk and waive all claims of every nature against the County of Fresno, Fresno County Sheriff’s Office and Search and Rescue Mountaineering Team, Search and Rescue Jeep Unit, California Classic Events,  Southern California Edison, the directors, organizers, officials, sponsors, volunteers and other participating agencies with respect to any personal loss, illness, bodily injury or death resulting from participating in these activities.   I fully understand the rigors of participation in an event such as this and have knowledge there are risks in running, and hiking and fully assume all such risks.   I acknowledge that it has been explained to me that this is a trail event and there may be rocks, roots, limbs, pine cones, animals, dust and other unforeseen hazards that may present themselves in a wilderness environment on the course.  I agree to stay on designated trails during this event.  I have prepared myself physically and mentally for the run and/or hike.  I acknowledge that I have been advised that the air quality may be hazardous to my health due to fires in the forest and still elect to participate at my own risk. 

All events take place rain or shine. I understand there is NO REFUNDS for any reason. I agree and understand if I allow my bib number to be transferred to another person for any reason that I will personally contact the event Director which is found on the contact page of the website to inform the event of the new participant. I UNDERSTAND BY ALLOWING ANYONE TO USE MY BIB WITHOUT NOTIFYING THE RACE IN WRITING WILL CAUSE MY BIB TO BE INVALID WITH NO REFUND AND WILL CAUSE MYSELF TO BE BANNED FROM ALL FUTURE EVENTS RUN BY THIS ORGANIZATION.
