In consideration of you accepting this entry, I, the participant, intending to be legally bound and hereby waive or release any and all rights and claims for damages or injuries that I may have against the Event Director, RunSignUp.com, the DR Thomas Kennedy Family, the Bridgeport Hospital, the Little Pub, MS Running Productions, Club CT., and all of their agents assisting with the event, sponsors and their representatives and employees for any and all injuries to me or my personal property. This release includes all injuries and/or damages suffered by me before, during or after the event. I recognize, intend and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees.

I certify as a material condition to my being permitted to enter this race that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my physical condition has been verified by a licensed Medical Doctor. By submitting this entry, I acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) having read and agreed to the above waiver. I understand IT IS ILLEGAL and potentially damaging TO GIVE MY BIB/REGISTRATION TO ANYONE ELSE. Doing so will void your waiver and eliminate any and all insurance claims. It also will affect the results of the race, delays emergency services, and causes insurance problems.

Severe Weather & Cancellation Policy -This event is being held rain or shine. Weather forecasts are tracked for heavy rain, thunder and lightning, high winds, snow, etc. If there is a possibility of threatening weather, information will be posted on our website and social media pages to alert participants of possible changes. We will also do our best to send an e-blast to all pre-registered that have supplied us with a viable email address. Severe weather or a forecast to become severe during the event could change the race start time. This event could be postponed or canceled. No Refunds are given if the event is delayed, postponed, or canceled due to severe weather or by direction of Facility Directors, Park Services, Police, or State Officials.

Additionally I promise not to complain about the weather or anything else, run safely (without headphones), smile for the cameras, and think about volunteering for a race next year- as a Christmas present to a race director!
