2026 Lead the Way 5K for TLC

Join The Learning Center for the Deaf (TLC) for its second annual fun and family-friendly 5K Run/Walk in Framingham, MA. This event will directly benefit Deaf and hard of hearing students, individuals, and families that TLC supports across the Commonwealth and nationwide.

This year, we are proud to align our event with TLC's Annual Homecoming. We invite you all to attend our 5K, and then stay for a full day of vendor booths, food trucks, athletic games, and activities. Admission into our Homecoming is free; there are additional charges for food, drinks, and vendor sales.

Registration Cost:

T-shirts are Adult Size S - 2XL and are included with each registration for ages 11 and older. The deadline to sign up for T-shirt is August 15, 2026.

Kids 10 and younger are free, and do not need to be registered for the main race, but parents can sign them up for our Fun Run!

• Early Bird: June 1 through July 31

  $30 - Ages 18+

  $10 - Ages 11-17

• Regular: August 1 through August 31

  $35 - Ages 18+

  $15 - Ages 11-17

• Late: September 1 through September 19

  $40 - Ages 18+

  $20 - Ages 10-17

Walk-ins will be accepted for the Late Registration Fees above.
Only service animals are permitted on the course and event grounds. We appreciate your understanding as we maintain a safe environment for all participants.

Tentative Schedule:

• 6:30 AM: Registration Opens

• 7:30 AM: Kick-off Remarks and Pre-Race Warm Ups 

• 7:45 AM: Race begins

• 9:00 AM: Kids Fun Run

• 9:15 AM - Prizes/Awards

• 10:00 AM - Homecoming Begins; Vendor Booths Open
