Welcome to the Knoxville Track Club’s RunKNOX Training Program. We are excited that you have found us!

The RunKNOX mission is to develop a bonded community of runners who achieve balanced, healthy lifestyles and reach individual potential through the support of group training and the guidance of experienced coaches. Whether you are brand new to running, targeting a personal record race performance, or just looking to log miles with friends, we have a space for you in our group.
Each week you will receive the “RunDOWN”. This newsletter contains important training information for the upcoming week. Included are the week’s workout schedules, tips and tricks for better understanding of the sport, and an opportunity to highlight each other’s achievements.
We currently offer at least five workout opportunities each week (Multiple Runs, plus Core and Yoga) sometimes in-person and sometimes virtually (Thanks Covid!).
A typical week offers in-person runs on Monday at 5am, Tuesday at 6pm, Wednesday at 5am, and Saturday at 8am. Yoga has been virtual via Zoom on Thursday evenings and Core has been virtual as well, rotating between Monday evening and Friday morning depending on group interest. Nearly all workouts are coach led with a programmed mix of interval, tempo, and hill runs in addition to general easy paced base mileage. We welcome all levels of experience from Walk/Run to Advanced Racers.
We generally train to target local races, but since the pandemic has limited race opportunities, our main focus right now is simply building fitness. If you have a specific goal, let us know and we'll be happy to help you build for your target event.
