Heal the Soul 5k/10k Trail Run

KCWS will hold the 6th Annual Heal the Soul 5K and 10K Trail Run on May 21, 2016. This timed run will take place at Joshua Springs Park & Preserve. Over 250 runners are expected to participate in the event which include a 5K, 10K and 1.4 mile walk. Awards will be given to first place overall male, female and youth in both the 5K and10K. 

About the beneficiary, Kendall County Women's Shelter: 

The Kendall County Women’s Shelter seeks to provide safe, emergency shelter in a supportive environment where Texas Hill Country victims of domestic violence and their children can begin the healing process and receive the support

services they need to build new lives. In 2015, KCWS provided 6,451 nights of safety to 111adult victims and 95 children. In addition, KCWS provided 49 pets 1,709 bed nights. If you are in need of a safe place, please call KCWS at 1-800-495-8078. All calls are free and confidential.
