Morning Star Trail Trot/ Looped Trail Run

Join our kids, instructors, volunteers and friends of Morning Star Ranch in a fun "loop" style run at the ranch. Participates will run or walk a one mile trail loop on the ranch as many times as possible in one hour. Participants with the most loops at the end of an hour will receive a unique commemorative horseshoe. All participants will enjoy a t-shirt with registration and a pancake breakfast following the trail run. All race registration fees benefit Morning Star Ranch and the many ways they support children in our surrounding area.

Morning Star Ranch... A shared dream... A dream to touch children's lives through engagement in the western lifestyle. A faith-based riding center focused on loving and blessing children in our community ages 4-12. A safe place where they can learn life skills by opening their hearts to horses.

Program is open to at-risk or disadvantaged children ages 4-12.   Participation in the program is done either through referral (teacher, counselor, pastor, etc.) or by application (caregiver calls or applies online).  There is no fee or cost for participating in our faith-based riding program.  This ministry uses Equine Facilitated Learning. 

Morning Star Ranch is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Each year we offer ALL our services free of charge to hundreds of children in need. Consequently, we depend heavily on donations from generous individuals and organizations to meet the needs of children and teens throughout Erath County and surrounding areas.
