Rock The Doc 5K & 1K Fun Run
Rock The Doc honors the legacy of Dr. Robert J. Dennington, Little Elm’s highly regarded first Orthodontist, esteemed community leader and longtime resident. Dr. Dennington, affectionately known as “Doc,” was deeply committed to serving Little Elm before his passing from complications of lymphoma in 2008. This race celebrates our beloved local leader’s life, service and the lasting impact he made in the community.
Rock the Doc is all about bringing our community together for a great cause, while continuing to build the energy and culture that makes NTX RR so special! Whether you're walking, running or just enjoying the lively atmosphere, it's a great way to start your Saturday surrounded by family, friends and runners/walkers of all ages! Register today and don't miss out on the fun!
Proceeds from this event benefits the Little Elm Area Food Bank, who has provided emergency food assistance to local families since 1984.

5K Awards
5K Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female in the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+.
All finishers of the 5K Run/Walk and Kids 1K Fun Run will receive a participation medal.
5K Run/Walk will be timed. Runners, walkers and joggers welcome!
1K Fun Run is not timed, no awards, just fun!
Please join us for the awards ceremony. Unclaimed awards will not be mailed.

About North Texas Rhythm Runners
North Texas Rhythm Runners (NTX RR) is a social running club established in July 2024, that has since grown substantially with over 200 members. The mission of NTX RR is to promote health, wellness, and community engagement through running and walking activities. The organization is established as a nonprofit and operates exclusively for charitable purposes, supporting initiatives that encourage active lifestyles and strengthen community connections.
NTX RR conducts regular weekend fun runs and partakes in running events throughout the DFW area. Additionally, NTX RR volunteers at local charities in our community by giving back to and supporting others in need. We look forward to continued growth, service and racking up miles!
Our motto is "Every Pace has a Place." Whether you're a walker, jogger, runner or just come for the vibes, there's a place for you! We hope to see you at one of our Saturday runs at The Porch @ Union Park, 7:30 AM!
