Where is parking for the race?

Our primary parking area will be a mowed, grassy field located about 0.2 miles from our race start/finish.  We will have shuttle buses to drive participants to the start and return them to the parking area after the race.  We also are offering VIP Parking for $10 for a limited number of spots which are located in/around the Egg Lawn and closer to the start/finish line.

Can I transfer my bib to another runner?

Yes we offer complimentary bib transfers (Called a "Gift Transfer") until April 1, 2018.  With a gift transfer you will transfer your bib to another runner and she will pay you directly for whatever price you are charging for this transfer.  After that date there will be a $10 charge to transfer your bib.  The opportunity to transfer your bib to another runner ends on June 1st.  You can facilitate a gift/bib transfer right from your race registration within RunSignUp.com.

Do you offer refunds of your registration?

There are no refunds under any circumstances.

What is your severe weather/cancellation policy?

In the event of severe weather (thunder/lightning/severe storm) we will postpone the race for a period of time until it is deemed safe to proceed.  If after delaying the race it is determined that we cannot complete the half marathon within the time frame of our contract with The Parklands then a decision will be made to conduct only the 4 Miler or cancel the races in total.  In the event of our only being able to conduct the 4 Miler all Half Marathon registrants will be switched to this race division.  If we are experiencing rain conditions but no thunder/lightning we will conduct the race as scheduled.  There are numerous shelters at The Parklands at Floyd's Fork along the route if runners need to seek shelter.  Participant safety is our top priority.

Can I switch race divisions? (i.e. Switch from Half Marathon to 4 Miler)

We do allow for race division switches either from Half Marathon to 4 Miler or vica versa.  This switch can be made by you within your race registration.  We do not offer refunds for the difference in price between the race divisions if you "switch down" to the 4 miler.  If you have difficulty making this switch on your own email Bob@RaceRise.com for assistance.

Filly 4 Miler Map

Filly Half Marathon Route

The elevation change for the Filly Half Marathon is 696 feet.  Most of this elevation change comes in one section of the course which is passed twice with the out and back configuration of the 13.1 mile route.  The entire course is run on paved asphalt or concrete surfaces (roads or wide trails).  There are sections of shady areas with approximately 20-25% of the course shaded by trees.
