1 Mile Youth Race
Description
The purpose of this event is to promote and raise awareness of Alzheimer’s Disease and for everyone to be mindful of how keeping our mind and body active, leads to a healthy life with positive outcomes. We welcome and encourage our friends, family, and community to come out and join us while we enjoy a nice run or walk to JUMP START the Fall Season off to a Healthy Start!
As we celebrate our Special 5th Anniversary, we are offering three race choices. You may register for only (1) of the races below.
5K Run/Walk
1.5 Mile Seniors Run/Walk
1 Mile Youth Fun Run (Ages 12 & Under)
The race will be held at the beautiful, Occoquan Regional Park in Lorton, Virginia. This paved course winds its way along the delightful Occoquan River, extending you splendid, scenic views throughout the park’s natural terrain.
We will have a DJ on site and there will be an award ceremony and a catered meal after the completion of the race at the Occoquan Regional Park Pavilion.
