1st Annual Zeta Iota Waterfront Wellness 5K

Join the Zeta Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. for our 1st Annual Waterfront Wellness 5K, a signature community event dedicated to promoting health, fitness, and wellness throughout the Hampton Roads community. As part of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's National Health Initiative, this event encourages individuals and families of all fitness levels to embrace an active lifestyle while fostering fellowship, service, and community engagement.

The race will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, beginning at Festival Park along the beautiful Portsmouth Waterfront. Participants will enjoy a scenic 5K run/walk while supporting a meaningful cause that promotes healthier living and strengthens our local community.

Following the race, attendees are invited to enjoy refreshments from our featured wellness vendors, Forkin' to Fitness Food Truck and Smoothie Stand 757, offering nutritious food and smoothie options for participants and spectators.

Mission: The Zeta Iota Waterfront Wellness 5K is committed to inspiring healthier lifestyles, increasing community awareness of preventive health and wellness, and creating opportunities for fellowship and service. All proceeds from this event will directly support scholarships and community uplift initiatives, helping us invest in the next generation of leaders while continuing our commitment to serving the Portsmouth community.
